1.2 Million Views for "Massacre at Murambi"

Massacre at Murambi, which aired on the PBS series P.O.V., has reached over 1,200,000 viewers on YouTube. 5 years ago, The Media That Matters Film Festival posted Massacre at Murambi on Youtube and since then over eight hundred viewers have joined the discussion about the film and what it says about our participation in the Rwandan Genocide.

I made this film when I was teaching at the National University of Rwanda in 2006. In 2007, it was broadcast on P.O.V., the PBS documentary series. That year it was posted on YouTube by Media That Matters, as part of their film festival website, where it's been screened and discussed by over 1,200,000 people. The quality of the image is better here than on YouTube.
